Registration Details
Deadline: All registrations must be submitted by June 8th at 5:00 pm.
Requirements:
- Complete the registration form found on the last page of this document.
- Ensure your child is enrolled at v2.4honline.com.
- Review the 4-H Code of Conduct (consented to during online enrollment).
Submission: Registration is on a first-come, first-served basis. We cannot accept reservations via email or phone.

Note: If you submit registration via mail, please do not send cash, and know that registration is contingent on spaces still being available. For faster response, come to the Northampton County Coperative Extension Office to register at 9495 NC Highway 305, Jackson, NC 27845.
Payment Information: Registration is not complete without payment.

Policies & Attendance:
- Punctuality: Parents are responsible for on time drop-off and pick-up. For field trips, we must leave on time, and there is only a 5-minute grace period. Refunds will not be given for those arriving late.
- Conduct: We reserve the right to dismiss any child who is disruptive or violates the Code of Conduct. If dismissed, a parent must pick them up immediately; no refund will be provided.
- Refunds: No refunds are given unless the Cooperative Extension office cancels the program. Approved refunds are processed after all summer events are complete.
Food:
- Youth will need to bring their own lunches for each camp. We will not have access to refrigeration or have to capability to heat meals, so please pack lunches in a manner to keep them controlled as needed.
- A snack and water will be provided daily, but youth are encouraged to bring their own refillable water bottle.
2026 Offerings
The Adventure Begins: Llamas vs. Alpacas
Ages: 5–11 Cost: $25
Dates: June 18th (9:00 am - 1:00 pm) &
19th (8:30 am - 2:00 pm) Leaving early to be on time for programming.
This is a hands-on animal science camp where you will discover the differences between these two species. The second day features a field trip to Hardly Farm in Castalia, NC, to visit the alpacas in person. Attendance on both days is required to get the full experience.
iPad Architects: From Pixels to Programming
Ages: 12–18 Cost: $5
Date: June 22nd (9:00 am - 1:00 pm)
This one-day session moves you from basic screen navigation to building your own digital logic. You will explore the world of coding and learn how to use an iPad as a tool for creation and architecture.
Bricks in Motion: A Lego Challenge
Ages: 8–12 Cost: $10
Date: June 30th (9:00 am - 1:00 pm)
Forget the instruction manuals and focus on engineering. This camp features rapid-fire Build Battles and bridge-building challenges to test structural integrity. You will also collaborate with others to design and build a Community of the Future.
Color Explosive Art Experience
Ages: 5–7 Cost: $10
Date: July 1st (9:00 am - 1:00 pm)
Designed for high-energy creators, this day balances focused art sessions with active, tactile play. It is a great way to keep your hands busy while creating colorful masterpieces.
Unique Art: Famous Inspirations
Ages: 8–11 Cost: $10
Date: July 2nd (9:00 am - 1:00 pm)
This camp explores the creative processes used by famous artists. Instead of just coloring, you will be splashing, building, and using various materials to create unique art pieces to take home.
Cow-tastic Fun
Ages: 8–18 Cost: $25
Dates: July 7th (9:00 am - 1:00 pm) &
8th (8:00 am - 2:30 pm) Leaving early to be on time for programming.
Spend two days exploring the dairy industry. You will learn about cow care and milk production through games and experiments. Day two includes a tour of Simply Natural Creamery.
Important: A specific waiver is required for this trip to access the Dairyland playground area.
Feathered Friends
Ages: 5–12 Cost: $25
Dates: July 13th (9:00 am - 1:00 pm) &
14th (9:00 am - 1:00 pm)
Take a journey into the world of birds. You will spend the first day gaining knowledge about our feathered friend through a variety of activities. Then the next day, we will embark on a field trip to Sylvan Heights to see these creatures in action.
Creative Cooking
Ages: 5–8 Cost: $10
Date: July 28th (9:00 am - 1:00 pm)
Spend the day learning about the kitchen tools and how to make something new with our Family and Consumer Sciences Agent.
Cooking Exploration
Ages: 9–12 Cost: $10
Date: July 29th (9:00 am - 1:00 pm)
Discover the science behind your favorite recipes while gaining essential culinary skills and kitchen safety techniques.
